Muriwai Art Degustation – Join us to Eat, Drink, Talk and see Art.

Art Trail – Follow the blue flags and visit artists in their studios.

The Muriwai Art Degustation: Saturday 12 October.

Degustation tours include visits to 8 artists in six studios with exclusive artist talks at each studio Food and drink appropriate for high tea or sundowners will be served. Limited to thirteen people per tour, this is a wonderful opportunity to interact with the artists in their studio environment at one of Auckland’s iconic wild West Coast surf beaches. Transport around the studios is included.

These tours provide exclusive, early access to work from this talented group of artists. Mediums include ceramics, jewellery, painting and photography – many with established artist profiles throughout New Zealand.Email muriwaiopenstudios@gmail.comto book your place.

Sand Art – a hands on experience with Lesley Wilson

Sand artist and member of the Muriwai Art Open Studio collective is delighted to share her skills building large sand castles, sculpturesand creating sand art drawingson Saturday 12 October and Sunday 13 October at Muriwai, just 30 minutes north west of Auckland. Recently back from San Diego to compete in the Masters section of the Imperial Beach Sun and Sea Festival, Lesley will be running two interactive sand art sessions suitable for all ages on Muriwai beaches. Children please bring an adult to keep you safe from the sea and join you in your creativity! Carefully timed to suit the tides, these will be fun, creative and inspiring.
