Raised rurally in Kumeu, on the family farm, spending most of her early years riding horses and drawing pictures, Suzanne loved the outdoors and being in nature. At an early age, she always had a love of art, creativity and asethetics.
As a Kindergarten teacher, Suzanne’s love of art is naturally shared and integrated in her teaching practice.
Suzanne lives locally in Muriwai with her husband, their 3 children and her elderly mother, all of whom share her passion for nature and creativity.
Suzanne is a self taught artist who values the importance of exploration and experimentation – enjoying the creative process just as much as the final product.
Suzanne currently likes to paint in acrylic. She enjoys the freedom of painting on various mediums such as; canvas, plywood, decking timbers and driftwood.
Nature is Suzanne’s biggest catalyst for inspiration and it is from this, that she delights in expressing her perception and wonderment ofthe natural world.
