Join us under the stars for a special evening of outdoor film. We’ll be screening two films, both directed by local filmmakers, on the big screen at the Surf Club.
Enjoy food from local food trucks and drinks from the Surf Club bar as the sun sets and the films roll. All profits from the evening will be donated to support the Waimauku School Kapa Haka group.

Who we are
At Muriwai Arts, we are a group of local artists and supporters of the arts dedicated to celebrating the unique region of Muriwai and the incredible creative talent it nurtures.

What we do
We host a biennial exhibition showcasing the incredible talents of Muriwai’s local artists, from painting and sculpture to jewellery. Our opening night features live performances from local musicians, creating an unforgettable celebration of creativity.
With a strong connection to Muriwai’s thriving film community, we also provide a platform for local filmmakers, sharing their work during the exhibition weekend and through events held throughout the year.
