Gloria Grimoldi is an Italian artist and designer based in New Zealand.
She holds a Masters Degree in Design from the Polytechnic of Milan and a Diploma of Fine Arts from Milan’s Brera Art School. Before settling in New Zealand she travelled extensively, working as an art director in the advertising industry while pursuing her passion for painting and design.

A principal theme in Gloria’s recent works is the nature and culture of her adopted home.
She mixes the classical, colourful styles of her Italian roots with contemporary local patterns and textures, experimenting in different forms of media as well as her surroundings and environment.
